Android and Windows apps

Some jobs need software that lives on a device: an app for engineers working offline, a till or kiosk application, or a Windows tool that talks to hardware. We build them to be reliable in the real conditions they are used in.

Apps that work where your people work

A warehouse with patchy Wi-Fi, a van in a rural area, a shop counter at lunchtime: these are the conditions business apps have to survive. We design for them from the start, with offline storage, careful syncing and large, clear controls.

Android

We build native Android apps in Kotlin for phones, tablets and rugged handhelds. Apps can be published on Google Play or distributed privately to company devices through a device management system.

Windows

For desktop software we use .NET, which runs well on everything from office laptops to point-of-sale terminals. We package apps with proper installers and automatic updates, and integrate with printers, scanners, scales and other hardware.

Connected to the rest of your systems

Most device apps are only half the job. We usually build the web dashboard and API they talk to as well, so data flows into the rest of the business without anyone retyping it.

Android and Windows apps: common questions

Do you build iPhone apps?

Our focus is Android and Windows. Where a project needs iOS as well, we can build with a cross-platform framework such as Flutter, or recommend a trusted iOS specialist to work alongside us.
