A small studio, on purpose

Farsee is a new web development and AI solutions studio for businesses that want a developer who understands the business, not just the brief.

Mahyar Mosavi

Founder and lead developer

I started Farsee to give small and growing businesses the kind of developer I always wanted to hire: one who explains things plainly, builds carefully and is still around after launch.

Why “Farsee”

Most software problems are visible from a long way off: the shop that will not cope with Christmas traffic, the spreadsheet that one person understands, the app that nobody can update because the developer disappeared. The name is a reminder to look ahead, plan the route properly and build things that are still easy to change in three years.

What working with us is like

You deal with the people who write the code. There is no account manager passing messages along, and no junior team you never meet. That keeps projects small enough to stay honest: we take on a limited number of clients at a time so each one gets proper attention.

We are deliberately broad. A single business often needs a website, an online shop, a connection to its accounting software and a small internal tool, and it is far easier when one team understands how all of those fit together. We choose the technology to suit the job rather than the other way round: Laravel and PHP for most web applications, Shopify where it is the right fit for selling online, Kotlin for Android and .NET for Windows software.

Where AI fits

AI is now part of that toolkit, but not the answer to everything. We use language models for the jobs they do well, such as reading, sorting, summarising and drafting, and keep a person or a simple rule in charge of anything that has to be right every time. Every AI proposal explains where your data goes and what it will cost to run.

A new studio

Farsee is newly launched, so there is no back catalogue of client logos on this site. Instead, you can try working demos of the kinds of things we build, read exactly how a project runs, and talk to the person who would build yours before you commit to anything.

What we will not do

  • Lock you in. You own your code, accounts and data from day one.
  • Sell you something you do not need. If an off-the-shelf tool is the better answer, we will say so.
  • Disappear after launch. Every project includes a month of free fixes, and we are here long after that.
  • Pad the timeline. Estimates are honest, and if something changes you hear about it straight away.

Tell us where you want to get to.

Send a few lines about your project. You will hear back from the person who would build it within one working day, with honest next steps and, where we can, a ballpark price.
