Questions about cost
How much does a website cost?
Small business websites usually cost between £1,500 and £5,000. Online shops start around £2,500, and web applications from £6,000. Every project gets a fixed written quote before any work starts, so the figure you agree is the figure you pay.
How do payments work?
Fixed-price projects are usually paid in three stages: 30% to book the work, 40% at an agreed midpoint, and 30% at launch. Care plans are billed monthly in advance. We never ask for the full amount up front.
What if I want to change something halfway through?
That is normal. Small changes are absorbed. If a change adds real work, we tell you the cost and the effect on the timeline before doing it, and you decide.
How accurate is the online cost estimator?
The estimator gives an indicative range for a typical project of the type and size you choose. It is not a quote. Your fixed price comes after a short call, once we understand the details, and it is set out in writing before any work starts. You can send your estimate with a project brief so we start from the same numbers.
Are there any ongoing costs?
Usually hosting (typically £10–£40 a month for a business site), your domain, and any paid tools you choose. Every quote lists running costs separately so there are no surprises. A care plan is optional.
